Volante is an independent publishing firm, literary agency and speakers bureau, based in the Old Town of Stockholm, Sweden.
Our ambition is to publish works and authors that make a difference, offering unexpected perspectives and challenging conventions. We publish primarily narrative nonfiction, but also works of fiction and children’s books.
Volante was founded by Tobias Nielsén in 2003 and has since then grown to include several imprints. Such as: Bookhouse (management, self-development), Knopp (children), and 8tto (research).
Rights to our titles have been sold to countries such as Brazil, Finland, Germany, Japan, the Netherlands, Norway, South Korea, UK, and USA.
The authors and speakers affiliated with us are mainly leading voices in their fields. Some of them are associated with our division Speakers Net, for international key note speakers.
